InternetNews.com reports that Microsoft saw a big spike of traffic from the launch of Virtual Earth two weeks ago. According to Internet media and market research firm Nielsen/NetRatings the new addition caused MSN Maps and Directions (what we might call the MapPoint site) to be the top growing website in week over week unique audience growth.
